MY ONE-STOP SYSTEM:

We'll meet in the comfort of your home, or in my office. Once we have determined your affordable range, we'll review the plans from the builders that build in that price bracket.

Some build on vacant lots, others only build in their subdivisions. We'll determine which sites suit you best and which plans you like best.

Then we'll meet again at your convenience, not the Builder's, and tour the Builders' models so that you can see what the plans look like in reality. It also gives you the opportunity to inspect the Builders' workmanship and the types of materials that he considers to be "standard". At that point, you'll be shopping for a Builder, not for a floor-plan.

Once you've made a decision about which builder is up to your standard, we will present him with the floor-plan of the model that comes closest to the home in your mind's eye.

Builders and laypeople speak different languages, and many of the issues that boil up into a fight result from miscommunications. You both use the same word, but it means different things to each of you. It's critical at that meeting to ensure that what he hears is what you meant to say, and vice versa. I can use my communication skills, and my knowledge of those grey terminology areas, to keep you both seeing the same home in your imagination. More importantly, I have the writing skills to get down on paper, in a way that can't be misinterpreted later on, what you both agreed to verbally,

ABOUT MLS-LISTED BUILDERS:

Custom Builders sell their homes through Realtors to ensure that they are providing professional ethical sales services to the public. By having your own Realtor representing you in your purchase, you will know that your interests are being protected by the Code of Ethics of the Builder's Realtor, and by your own Realtor.

RESALE OPTIONS:

By dealing with me, you will also have the option of reviewing homes available on the resale market. You will be reassured that having a home built was really the best option for you, but it also reassures you that you could resell your home for the price you are paying the Builder for it.
